For a long time now Molly - the melody monster - has helped AM4U's children-students practice their E-A singing exercises, but lately both the students and her slowly started noticing that Molly's left arm had started to act rather strange.
"It [the arm] just started acting a little funny few months ago", reports Dagmar Sagar, AM4U’s Director and Molly's employer, she continues - "until one day, it was seemingly just hanging on a thread."
Eventually, the tragic moment had to come; and so, waking up earlier this week, Molly was only mildly surprised to find that her arm had disappeared. Still, the question remains what really happened to the loose limb.
"This sort of thing does not come as a surprise to me", explains Dr. Frank N. Stein - physician to high-profile monsters such as Nessy and her bad case of the Bends as well as Dracula and his extreme lack of Vitamin D - "You see, a monster is meant to scare the children, and not assist them with developing their special talents". Upon being asked about a possible cause for Molly's arm disappearing he went on to explain that... "this is a simple case of M.D.L.D. - Monster Dissociative Limb Disorder - where one part of the monster's body refuses to be part of it, in order to follow its own goals".
So it seems that Molly's arm will be going out on a limb when it comes to being a real monster.
As for Molly, she is as happy as ever because as she says: "Even with one arm missing I will continue to help the kids, after all, practicing the A-E doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, so in that department I am safe!"
