Singing is the perfect way to bring people together!
Being a part of a singing school, group or choir provides you with the opportunity to meet interesting and nice people who, not only, share your interests, but with whom you can experience the joy of a singing and leisure environment.
Even if you may initially feel like a newcomer and, maybe, a little overwhelmed at first; you will soon discover that in a singing group most of the singers tend to rely on the “strong singers” next to them to keep in-tune with the melody.
Singing is absolutely great as it creates a feeling of harmony and serves as a great bonding experience when you, for instance, perform a heartfelt song together. Laughing together at silly, little mistakes makes it easier to break the ice and to start a conversation with others during the rehearsal breaks. Finally, take a moment to imagine the fun atmosphere, after a concert, when everybody celebrates a successful performance!
Especially for older singers, participating in a group or choir makes for an affordable hobby which is also excellent for their mental, as well as social well-being!
The pleasure that one derives from playing music and singing together serves as a reward for having come-together supportively, instead of staying alone at home.
Alternatively, if you find that you are more of a solo singer, joining a singing school which offers student concerts, you will soon discover that this "hobby" we call singing, is really all about bringing people together!
Not every singer may be talented, but they are all in the same boat and everybody sings for fun!
