After shifting to Australia, Peter Sagar was appointed Head of Piano at Cranbrook School until 2008, when he shifted to his present position as Coordinator of Performance Studies at Kambala School in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs.
Mr. Sagar has taught piano and music theory privately all his life, alongside his performing, with considerable success. His students have received multiple awards, including several Exhibition Awards from Trinity College London for his students achieving top marks worldwide. He teaches all examinations boards as well as preparation for the HSC examinations. Mr. Sagar’s students have received Encore nominations (for outstanding performances in the HSC examinations). One of his private piano students has achieved second in the State for HSC Music 2 and 4 of his coaching students have achieved 2nd in the State for Music Extension.
Peter Sagar teaches beginners and advanced students alike and his friendly uncomplicated but knowledgeable manner is an asset to the AM4U Singing Studio. Mr Sagar has performed and recorded throughout both East and West Europe, Israel, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand. He has worked with musicians such as Sabine Meyer, Martin Frȍst, Klaus Thunemann, James Wagner and Hans Deinzer.
